A Scottish campsite has been crowned the best in the country for 2025 by the AA.

On Monday, the motoring and travel organisation unveiled the winners of its annual AA Campsite of the Year awards. The yearly awards celebrate the UK's top campsites and caravan parks as judged by expert AA inspectors.

The top prize for Scotland went to Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park in Blairlogie. Situated just outside of Stirling, the AA describes the campsite as being in the "centre of 'Braveheart' country".

Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park includes a variety of hard standing pitches and electrical hook up points. The five-star site also features an award-winning toilet and shower block, a laundry, undercover cooking shelters, and dish-washing facilities, as well as a play park for children.

The AA singled out Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park as being an "ideal base from which to tour the central region of Scotland". It also praised the campsite's "quirky metal statues and themed carvings from tree trunks" and "superb attention to detail across the park".

An AA inspector commented: "In an attractive setting with direct access to the lower slopes of the dramatic Ochil Hills, Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park is a well-maintained family-run park. It is in the centre of 'Braveheart' country, with easy access to Stirling Castle and city centre as well the Wallace Monument."
