Wood Green 'gunman fired weapon on housing estate' as Met name man charged over North London incident
An alleged gunman has been named and charged with firing an imitation weapon on a housing estate in North London. Treynae Salmon, 26, of Swasedale Road, Luton, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, as well as possessing cannabis.
The charges come after an incident earlier this year, where a firearm was discharged in a housing estate on Commerce Road, Wood Green at around 8.30pm on June 21. There were no reported injuries, police say.
Mr Salmon will appear in custody at Highbury Magistrates' Court on Saturday (August 24) to face his charges. Met Police officers are still investigating the incident in the meantime.
