Workers in Japan Show Innovative Way of Clearing Snow

This digger helped take care of the build-up of ice in the water at Okaru, Japan, in order to get rid of the seven metres of snow in the area.

This is what uploader Alexander Davey told Storyful about the unusual event: “(During) Winter in Otaru, Japan (on the North Island of Hokkaido), it snows up to seven metres per season up there and as a result, they have some very interesting methods for getting rid of the snow. (Here) A truck dumps the snow and the excavator is dispersing it in the ocean. It’s really quite mesmerising.” Credit: lxdavey via Storyful
