Workers in these salary bands will wake up to 6% pay rise tomorrow
People urging this wage will receive a pay rise from tomorrow under the Labour Party government. People in this salary band and wage bracket will be handed a hike in the form of new national minimum wage rates under the Labour Party.
Te current minimum wage rates based on your age are, for those 21 and over, £11.44 an hour, for those 18 to 20, £8.60 an hour, for those under 18, £6.40 an hour and for an apprentice, £6.40 an hour. The Times reports that these could increase by more than 6%.
A Treasury source declined to comment on "speculation" . The minimum wage for workers above the age of 21 is known as the National Living Wage, while anyone under the age of 21 is paid the National Minimum Wage.

The pay rise would bring the minimum wage for workers aged 21 and older to around £12.12 per hour - up from the current rate of £11.44. Since 1 April, employees aged 21 and over are entitled to the National Living Wage. Previously, you had to be 23 to qualify.
On that date the rate increased to £11.44 an hour, up from £10.42. The changes, which apply across the UK, meant a full-time adult worker paid the minimum wage received a pay rise worth £1,800 a year and a 21-year-old who moved from the lower minimum wage rate to the main rate got a £2,300 rise.
Younger employees - aged between 16 and 20 - receive the National Minimum Wage. The rates for this also increased on 1 April. If you are 16 or 17, the National Minimum Wage is £6.40 an hour, up from £5.28. If you are 18, 19 or 20 , the National Minimum Wage is £8.60, up from £7.49
The separate apprentice rate, which applies to eligible people under 19 - or those over 19 in the first year of an apprenticeship - is £6.40 an hour, up from £5.28.
