The Works warns all customers to 'take action' before June 30

A three-week warning has been issued to shoppers to use loyalty points before bargain retailer axes rewards. The Works stopped letting customers collect points on its "Together Rewards" programme on March 30 and there is not much time left to redeem any previously awarded.

If you have any vouchers that have not yet been used, you have until 11.59pm on June 29 to do so. It said: "At The Works, we're committed to providing you with the products you love at affordable prices. In order to keep our prices competitive and offer you the best value, we have decided to end our 'Together Rewards' loyalty scheme.

"The scheme ends on Saturday 30th March 2024, after which no further points can be earned. Current members of the scheme will have until 23:59 on 29 June 2024 to redeem their vouchers. As a valued customer we thank you for your loyalty to The Works over to years.

"We will continue to provide you with a fantastic range of products and offers - now and in the future." It added that customers can access a new card if they've lost theirs and use a replacement until the end of the sixth month of the year.

It said: "We can send a new card in the post and transfer the data from your lost card. Customers can contact customers services via the 'contact us' page on the website or by phone on 0121 313 6050." In an FAQ, it added it won't be accepting new requests to join the scheme.

"In line with our Privacy Policy The Works will retain any transaction based data for 7 years to ensure that we can handle any queries during this time. Any loyalty specific data will be deleted upon closure of the scheme in GiveX. If you have opted in to our marketing we will continue to keep you updated with our latest products, exclusive content, competitions and offers. If you have opted out we will retain your information to ensure that you aren't contacted," it said.
