Woman who bagged world's largest Hula Hoop sells it online for £510
Vicky Worrall was amazed when she discovered the giant four-inch crisp while tucking into cheese and onion flavoured bag last week
A mum who discovered the world’s largest Hula Hoop has sold the crisp for £510 following a fierce bidding war on eBay.
Vicky Worrall was amazed when she discovered the giant four-inch crisp while tucking into cheese and onion flavoured bag last week.
Her find was more than an inch longer than the previous record-holder who also sold the crisp online.
The eBay listing attracted 43 bids before time ran out and was sold for £510 plus £2.80 packaging.
While the huge sum of money for a singular crisp would buy her 2380 bags of her beloved ring snacks, the 26 year-old admin worker is donating the proceeds to two local charities.
She said: ‘I bought the crisps from the man with the sandwich van, because I'm hopeless at dieting and fancied a treat.
‘I couldn't believe it when I opened the packet and found that whopper. I kept laughing - we all did - it's just funny.
‘Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would sell for anywhere near that much money.’

Vicky had to keep the crisp away from her partner and three-year-old daughter in case one of them decided to eat it.
‘One the seller, who appears to be completely genuine, pays up, it'll be posted to him in a box to keep it from breaking,’ said Vicky.
She added: ‘I might start buying Quavers now, just to see if I can find the biggest one of them ever.’
