Oasis fans are waiting anxiously for tickets for their Edinburgh Live '25 Tour to go on sale - but some seem to be falling at the first hurdle.

The highly anticipated gigs will see the Gallagher brothers return to the stage together for the first time since 2009. Tickets will be in high demand and a presale release has been confirmed.

Those wanting to have a chance of getting a ticket in the presale will get a confirmation email. However, some fans are still waiting.

It was explained to 'ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to access tickets', applicants will be selected for the pre-sale via a ballot. Fans have to answer an Oasis-themed question and the ballot will close at 7pm Wednesday, August 28.

Successful applicants will receive an email will full access information for the presale on Friday. However, they have been warned that 'success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets'.

Some fans who filled out the ballot are still waiting for the confirmation email and as Friday draws closer, tensions are rising.

On Tuesday evening, Oasis posted on social media: "Due to an extremely high volume of entries, confirmation emails may be delayed. Please be assured that everyone who has correctly filled out the ballot form before 7pm Wednesday 28th August will receive the confirmation email."

One fan commented: "Getting on for three hours since I filled in the form, and no email received. Doesn’t bode well for when tix go on sale!"

Another replied: "12 hours for me, still no email. I hope Ticketmaster has got every single employee and IT support on hand Friday and Saturday."

"Where is my confirmation???", a third simply said.

On Tuesday, another fan questioned: "I registered last night around 9pm, with three people, and neither have received a confirmation email. What’s the story…."

Oasis will be playing at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8, 9 2025.
