Wrexham footballers assaulted by man during youth game
Two young footballers were assaulted by a man during an under 16 game in Wrexham, police have said. Another man was also assaulted by the same individual at the match
North Wales Police (NWP) said incidents took place during a fixture between Caia Park boys and Deeside Dragons. The match was played on a field off Whitegate Road in the city.
The suspect is understood to have been at the game with one of the players from the Deeside team. The two players assaulted were representing the Wrexham team.

PC Connor Davies said: “I am asking anyone who witnessed these incidents, or anyone who might have video footage or images of the incidents, to contact us.”
