An ex-WWE star was thrown out by security after gatecrashing a Survivor Series event.

Wrestling fans were stunned when former star Enzo Amore turned up at Sunday's pay-per-view at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, months after being sacked.

Amore, real name Eric Andt, was fired from the WWE earlier this year following allegations of sexual assault, but the case was later dropped by police because of insufficient evidence.

The former WWE tag team and Cruiserweight champion managed to fool staff and security at the venue by donning a wig and covering his head with a hood.

Sitting on the second row, Amore was spotted by the crowd trying to hijack a match between the Authors of Pain and Sheamus and Cesaro wearing a vest with "I'm Doing Great" written on the front.

The 31-year-old was seen shouting and holding a custom made title belt in the air and tried to get the crowd to join in with a rendition of his How You Doin' chant.

But before long security stepped in and he was removed from the arena, and his outburst was not caught on the TV cameras.

But a number of clips have since surfaced on social media, in which a chorus of boos can be heard ringing out from the crowd.

After he was kicked out of the arena, Amore posted a picture on Instagram with the caption "zero f****".

He also wrote on Twitter: "Apparently you can't vape inside the Staples Centre # #HowYouDoin!?"

Amore was signed by the WWE in 2012 and making his debut on the main roster in April 2016.

He was part of successful tag team with Big Cass, a team which was broken up last year.

He was sacked from the WWE in January because the company said he did not inform them of the investigation into the sexual assault allegations.
