WWII Ordnance Prompts Second Day of Evacuations in London

Streets in London’s Soho district were closed off and buildings evacuated for a second day on Tuesday, February 4, following the discovery of an unexploded WWII-era bomb.

The Metropolitan Police said on Tuesday that “another part of yesterday’s WW2 ordnance has been discovered.” Several roads were closed in Soho and evacuations were ordered for buildings on Dean Street, Richmond Mews, Meard Street, and St Anne’s Court, according to police.
