Wynne Evans' Strictly Come Dancing exit was 'confirmed' before he'd even set foot in Blackpool Tower Ballroom, with him the overwhelming favourite to be eliminated this weekend.

Things had been going for Welsh singer and radio host Wynne before last weekend, with him never once ending up in the bottom two, even when bookies odds suggested he might be in danger. However, his record of making it through on the public vote every week came to a crashing end last Saturday night, when he was condemned to the dance-off for the first time, having finished towards the bottom of a very tight leaderboard.

Wynne and Strictly pro partner Katya Jones had to compete against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu to stay in the competition and the writing looked to be on the wall for them, when both Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted for Shayne, only for Anton Du BEke to then shake things up by saving Wynne, with head judge Shirley Ballas voting the same way as she got the final say.,

That meant that Wynne and Katya were through to Blackpool and, over the last week, they have been rehearsing a Charleston to Carmen Suite No. 1: 5. Les toréadors by George Bizet, as they prepare to step onto the dancefloor at the world famous Tower Ballroom. for Strictly's Blackpool special. However, even if Wynne and Katya wow the judges with their latest routine, bookies are certain they'll be the couple sent packing this weekend.

Every single bookmaker has Wynne as the odds on favourite to go, well ahead of any other celebrity left in the new series. Grosvenor Sport have him at 3/5 to go,. with Pete Wicks a considerable way behind in second on 5/2. And then, right at the other end of the odds, the longstanding favourite to win, Chris McCausland is at 100/1 to be eliminated.
