A double elimination in the Quarter Finals of X Factor tonight saw Sean and Conor Price, and Sam Black, voted out of the competition.

Part of Simon Cowell's Groups, brothers Sean and Conor performed Julia Michaels' Issues which impressed all the judges bar Nicole Scherzinger who said of their rendition, "I still think you guys are better than that..."

Sam Black, however, had a worse night of it. His performance of Oops by Little Mix received criticism from three of the four judges, and at one point, was even compared to a prawn cocktail by Cowell.

"That's what I call 'a prawn cocktail'," he said. "That's not the main course or the dessert, it's just like the little thing that you have before the big thing."

"You skip through everything," judge Sharon Osborne said. "I just don't have a sense of who you are."

Speaking after his elimination, Black told X Factor host Dermot O'Leary, "I just want to say 'thank you' to everyone who has voted for me in the past, I've had the best time."

Top of the poll this week was Rak-Su with their own song Mona Lisa, which earned the childhood friends a standing ovation from all four judges.

"Drop the mic. Leave now, it's done. It's done," said Osborne. "You guys are unbelievable songwriters."

"Guys, I hate to break it to you, it's Crazy In Love week and I think this country has fallen crazy in love with Rak-Su," added judge Nicole Scherzinger.

Other highlights from tonight's show included The Cutkelvins' Save Me From Myself which they wrote themselves – "A really, really great song" according to Osborne – and X Factor reigning champion Matt Terry's performance of his new single, The Thing About Love.

Tomorrow night, Osborne's Girls – Rai-Elle Williams, Holly Tandy and Grace Davies – and Scherzinger's Over 25s – Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen and Tracy Leanne Jefford – battle it out to remain in the competition, with two further acts facing elimination.
