X Factor's Robbie Williams was an emotional wreck after Livin' Joy's Janice Robinson auditioned with her 1994 hit 'Dreamer'.

The 50-year-old singer got the judges and crowds coming over all nostalgic as she performed the song, after introducing herself as Janice, 50, a mum-of-two from Garfield in New Jersey.

Wearing an incredible diamante-style headpiece – similar to the one she wore in the music video – Ayda Field exclaimed: "Holy mother of sparkle!"

"It started with a song I wrote 23 years ago, it's a song called 'Dreamer'," Janice told the judging panel.

After her performance, Simon described the track as a "big record", while Louis – although only 4 at the time of its release – called it a "banger". He added that even as a young child he was most likely "bopping along" to the tune.

But for Robbie, it was extra special...

"Your song has been a major soundtrack of my life," he said. "I was transported to a time there, to a person that I used to be and they were incredible times for me, but messy times.

"I could cry but I'm going to try not to because I'm on the TV, but I've just had an incredibly special moment right here on stage with you and I just want to thank you."

Livin' Joy was a Eurodance group which consisted of Italian brothers Paolo and Gianni Visnadi, and vocalists Janice and Tameka Starr. Their other hit was 'Don't Stop Movin'.

See whether Janice makes it through on Saturday.

The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday, September 1.
