X Factor: Robbie reduced to tears by '90s nostalgia act
X Factor's Robbie Williams was an emotional wreck after Livin' Joy's Janice Robinson auditioned with her 1994 hit 'Dreamer'.
The 50-year-old singer got the judges and crowds coming over all nostalgic as she performed the song, after introducing herself as Janice, 50, a mum-of-two from Garfield in New Jersey.
Wearing an incredible diamante-style headpiece – similar to the one she wore in the music video – Ayda Field exclaimed: "Holy mother of sparkle!"
When you finally have the moment you have been waiting for. To share all your gifts from God what was given to me has never truly all been seen I am a composer arranger lyricist background vocalist piano playing songwriting singer who pours her truth into every melody and lyric I create . I don’t write to tracks anymore it does nothing for my soul I have finally began to trust my self at the piano this has taken me over a decade to come back to this way of writing . Someone made fun of my 4 chords one day in a studio in Brooklyn and I stopped playing I was shattered and hurt it’s taken me 15 years to shake that pain now I effortlessly sit and create the most beautiful songs crafted from an intimate place in my heart I store them in a private musical vault and let them marinate and when the season arrives I take them out one by one by one I am so excited in these days Kura is home laughing even in her blindness her smile is amazing Amaya is cracking us up endlessly and I am trying my best to keep it all together . I have not written anything new but when I do my God you will know . I find my self in awe of Gods timing and plans England I am ready I am really ready for our journey stay tuned it’s coming soon . #faith#fortitude #prayersforkura#theshiftiscoming #raisingdaughters #tvlife #epicmomentscaptured #godsplan

"It started with a song I wrote 23 years ago, it's a song called 'Dreamer'," Janice told the judging panel.
After her performance, Simon described the track as a "big record", while Louis – although only 4 at the time of its release – called it a "banger". He added that even as a young child he was most likely "bopping along" to the tune.
But for Robbie, it was extra special...
"Your song has been a major soundtrack of my life," he said. "I was transported to a time there, to a person that I used to be and they were incredible times for me, but messy times.
"I could cry but I'm going to try not to because I'm on the TV, but I've just had an incredibly special moment right here on stage with you and I just want to thank you."
Livin' Joy was a Eurodance group which consisted of Italian brothers Paolo and Gianni Visnadi, and vocalists Janice and Tameka Starr. Their other hit was 'Don't Stop Movin'.
See whether Janice makes it through on Saturday.
The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday, September 1.
