X Factor Star Lucy Spraggan Marries Fiancée Georgina Gordon In Stunning Wedding Ceremony

Just married: Former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan has tied the knot with her fiancée Georgina Gordon!

The 24-year-old, who found fame on the 2012 series of the ITV singing competition, took to Twitter to announce the happy news.

She simply wrote to her followers: “I am the luckiest person.”

Much to everyone’s delight, the singer also shared a series of snaps on Instagram, which also serve to define the term ‘wedding goals.’

The brunette star donned a blue trouser suit, teamed up with a red tartan waistcoat, as she exchanged nuptials with her blonde bride, who wore a delicate flowing gown, headpiece and veil.

In one Pinterest-worthy photo, the newlyweds are candidly captured sharing a loving embrace, surrounded by a trail of lights with a ‘Just Married’ sign softly glowing behind them.

As if their stunning barn-style wedding couldn’t get any better, the lovebirds hired a bucking bronco for entertainment as well as a tattoo artist for guests to permanently commemorate the occasion.

Lucy got down on one knee and popped the all-important question last year during a romantic boat ride.

Speaking about her proposal at the time, she told OK! Magazine: “[Georgina] didn’t have a clue and she turned around and I was on one knee – it was amazing.”

Before admitting: “I think I knew that she’d say yes but it was still scary.”

Sharing some further details, she explained: “I got a boat – she didn’t know we were going on a boat, we went underneath Albert Bridge and her friends and family, her mum was on the bridge with all of her mates.”

The proposal also coincided with the day that Lucy released her first single ‘Unsinkable’, after she became a hot favourite competing on the ninth series of The X Factor.

We have an unsinkable feeling that her proposal and her partner’s subsequent answer topped her sophomore single though.

Now, honeymoon on cloud nine anyone?
