Former The X Factor star Cher Lloyd hasn't released an album since 2014 (which was ironically titled Sorry I'm Late), but that doesn't mean she's stopped working on new music.

In fact, her new single, titled 'Lost', is due out this Friday (April 24), and she has been busying hyping up the release over on her Instagram.

As well as lots of glossy shots of her in a sparkly corset, a see-through blue gown completed with a fluffy lining, the singer posted some clips of the music video (which is also out on Friday), featuring some of the song's audio.

"It's none of your business, first of all," she sings to what we assume is an ex, "wondering how I'm doing now, but if you've got to know then sure".

A separate post recently shared to Instagram reveals more lyrics from the song, including the lines: "You don't want me, you just want me to keep wanting you all of the time."

She told fans ahead of her new single release: "I can’t wait for you all to see it!!! Eeeekkk ...I’m also a little bit nervous too."

Lloyd's third studio album doesn't have a name yet, but last year she released the single 'M.I.A.' which is counted as that album's lead single.

Another single, 'None of My Business' was released in 2018 and, although we don't know if it will feature on the album, she recently revealed that it had made the equivalent of 1 million sales.

In 2018 she also welcomed her first child, a girl named Delilah-Rae.
