X Factor's Grace Davies 'acts like a diva towards crew and thinks she's already won the show'

Grace Davies, 19, has been wowing the X Factor’s audience with her original songs since her audition aired over the summer, with one of her tracks even hitting the iTunes top 10 last month.

However, since the hopeful won the viewer’s favourite spot in week one she has left the show’s backstage crew less than impressed with her “diva demands”, according to reports.

Sources have come forward to claim that Grace is acting as though “she’s already won the show and is a big star”, with the insider adding to The Mirror: “All her manners seem to have gone and since winning the opening week she has developed a bit of an attitude. It needs to stop.”

The teen is said to be making a series of demands and talking down to production staff, the source continued: “She is not doing herself any favours.

“No one young in the music industry needs a reputation for being a diva.

Sharon [Osbourne] is her mentor and she is always very kind to the cast and crew so who knows where Grace is getting this from.”

Grace has since been overshadowed by Simon Cowell’s group, Rak-Su – who are now the bookies’ favourite to win – and a separate source defended Grace’s “difficult” behaviour, saying that she is simply “determined”.

They explained: “After years of performing in clubs and bars with little recognition, Grace hopes that this is her time for a big break in the music industry.

“This matters so much and she is beside herself that people may mistake her need to be a perfectionist as being difficult. The reality is she’s worked so hard for this and is taking the competition very seriously.”

Grace previously hit the headlines after she reportedly had a fling with 29-year-old competitor Matt Linnen whilst staying in the X Factor house, however, it is thought that she is now fully concentrating on the competition, with there being a whopping four eliminations this coming weekend.
