X Factor’s Louisa Johnson Will Release A Collaboration For Her First Proper Single

It’s been five months since Louisa Johnson was crowned the winner of The X Factor 2015, and since she released her winner’s single, ‘Forever Young’.

Now, it’s time for Louisa to release her first proper single (y’know, one that she’s not had to sing in front of the entire nation before it’s released), and in an interesting turn of events, it’s a collaboration.

Yep, the X Factor champion has teamed up with Clean Bandit, the group behind ‘Rather Be’ and ‘Extraordinary’ for the track, titled ‘Tears’.

Announcing the exciting news on Twitter, Clean Bandit wrote: “We’re really excited to announce our new single ‘Tears’ ft. @louisa! Stay tuned for more info… #Tears”.

Louisa also shared the beautiful new artwork for the single on her Instagram, writing in the caption: “#tears”.

No release date for the single has been announced, though there is speculation that we could be surprised with the track tomorrow (May 27).

Like all X Factor winners, Louisa’s been spending her time since the show working on new music, with a new album expected later this year.

We can’t wait to hear it.
