X Factor's Lucy Spraggan has hair pulled out in vicious attack

Former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan took to social media to share horrific photos of injuries that she sustained when she was attacked outside a bar last week.

In the photos, Lucy, 25, can be seen holding up clumps of her hair that had been yanked out during the brawl, with the singer also obtaining scratches and bruising to her face.

Lucy had her hair yanked out in the brawl.

Lucy was leaving a gig with her wife, Georgina Gordon, and guitarist when she was attacked on Thursday outside of a bar on Middle Street in Brighton.

Sharing the photos of her injuries on Instagram, the star wrote: “That’s my own hair. Was attacked tonight after the show in Brighton, along with my guitarist and wife. Sussex Police have been amazing and are pursuing a charge.

“Got a bit of whiplash and a few bruises but we’re all good.

The star thanked Sussex police.

“Scary sh*t man. Be safe out there!”

Sussex Police confirmed: “Shortly before 3am on Friday police were called to Middle Street, Brighton, following reports that a 25-year-old woman had been attacked in a karaoke bar.

“A 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman, both from London, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and both have been bailed to Saturday, April 15 pending further enquiries.”

Lucy was with her wife, Georgina, at the time.

Lucy later clarified her comments on the attack on Twitter, telling concerned fans: “Me, my wife and my guitarist are all ok.

“Two people were arrested and bailed while the police gather evidence. It was all very sh*t and not a great way to finish the UK leg of the tour, but hey ho.

“Thank you all for the kind words, that’s all we have to say for now! Finishing the rest of the tour in Europe as planned.”

Lucy shot to fame in the 2012 series of The X Factor.

Lucy took part in the 2012 series of The X Factor and got through to week three of the live shows before she decided to pull out due to personal issues.

We’re glad to hear that Lucy is okay following the attack and hope that she is able to get justice.
