Xi says China's development should not focus just on growth rate

BEIJING (Reuters) - China's development in next five years should not focus just on the pace of economic growth, but also quality and volume of growth, the official Xinhua news agency quoted President Xi Jinping as saying on Tuesday. Xi was explaining a proposal for the country's 13th five-year plan, a blueprint for the economic and social development between 2016 and 2020, Xinhua said.
