Yahoo News Yellowjackets' Steven Krueger teases answers are coming in season 1 finale

Yellowjackets fans get ready as it is almost time to find out what truly went down in those creepy woods.
With what is set to be an explosive finale only a few days away, one of the show's stars has teased what lies ahead for the all-female football team of survivors.
Steven Krueger, who plays Coach Ben Scott, revealed that the long-anticipated final episode will answer at least some of the most burning questions that fans have.

"What I can say is that there will be some answers. I think that's kind of what people have been looking for since the beginning," Krueger said in an interview with Hollywood Life.
"I know that the danger with a show like this is that it kind of runs away a little bit, and it tends to forget what happened and what they've set up from the beginning," he continued, before promising that the "writers know exactly what they're doing".
As another season is already in the works, Yellowjackets is guaranteed to leave some loose ends for the next chapter.
"Obviously, because there's going to be another season, not everything gets tied up with a nice bow," Krueger confirmed.

"There are some great cliffhangers, but we do start to get some answers. Like I said, you do start to get that little bit of a glimpse of how things go from a soccer team that gets along for the most part to these people are killing each other however many months later," the actor then said.
"So it is a very, very fun episode for a finale."
Set in two different timelines, Yellowjackets tells the story of a New Jersey all-girl high school football team involved in a plane crash in 1996 and left to fend for themselves for months on end. Twenty-five years later, the surviving members of the team are grappling with a dark secret.
The cast features Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci and their eerily resembling younger counterparts, played by Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, and Sammi Hanratty respectively.
Yellowjackets airs on Showtime in the US and on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
