Yellowstone's end is confirmed along with announcement of new spin-off sequel
Paramount+ series Yellowstone is officially ending, with the Dutton family's story to continue being told through a new spin-off series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the final episodes of the main series will begin airing later this year, following rumours about lead star Kevin Costner's future in the series.
However, this won't be the last time we see the Dutton family on our screens, as the network has confirmed that a brand new sequel is in the works.
Joining fellow spin-off series' 1883 and 1923, the as of yet unnamed show will no doubt continue with telling another part of the Dutton story. Series creator Taylor Sheridan will also be working on the project, alongside production at MTV and 101 studios

"I am confident our Yellowstone sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life."
While David Glasser, CEO of 101, added that he was excited to continue telling the story of the Dutton dynasty.
"The Dutton story continues, picking up where Yellowstone leaves off in another epic tale. We are thrilled to bring this new journey to audiences around the world," he said.
