Police are hunting two yobs who targeted a primary school's minibuses - leaving them out of action. The vandalism at Whitfield Valley Primary Academy, in Fegg Hayes, has put trips planned for youngsters in jeopardy.

Neighbourhood officers say two buses were targeted in the 'early hours' of October 27 causing 'significant damage'. Now Staffordshire Police have issued a public appeal for witnesses to come forward.

PCSO Sarah Bowen, of Stoke-on-Trent North Local Policing Team, said: "Police are still hoping to identify two males who caused significant damage to two school minibuses at Whitfield Valley Primary Academy during the early hours of Sunday, October 27. The two males smashed the windows on both buses making them unusable. Planned trips that the children were looking forward to have had to be cancelled causing upset and disappointment."
