New York governor bans non-essential state travel to Indiana

NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday banned non-essential state travel to Indiana in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens. "With this action, we stand by our (LGBT) family members, friends and colleagues to ensure that their rights are respected," Cuomo said in a statement.
