New Yorkers Face Snowy Morning Commute After Overnight Fall
In what’s been a rarity this season, snow fell in New York City on Monday, February 27, as a winter storm moved across the northeastern United States.
Footage posted to Twitter by user @NYCRobyn shows the snowy scene from a high-rise on the Upper East Side of Manhattan late on Monday. “About time,” she tweeted, when the snow was sticking.
The National Weather Service said slippery road conditions would impact the morning commute. A winter weather advisory was issued for portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York until 10 am on Tuesday. Credit: @NYCRobyn via Storyful
