Our Yorkshire Farm fans blown away by Miles Owen's 'grown up' transformation as star makes career move

The Owen clan once again graced our television screens earlier this week, launching their new series to the delight of viewers who remarked on how much the kids have grown.

In the debut episode of 'Our Farm Next Door: Amanda Clive and Kids,' the audience saw Amanda and Clive Owen, along with their nine-strong brood, embark on a venture to breathe new life into an old farmhouse amidst the rugged landscape of the Dales.

Amanda Owen discussed the restoration work during the show, voicing her hope that some of her offspring might move from Ravenseat Farm to the fresh abode at Anty John's.

Furthermore, Amanda updated fans on her children's educational and professional pursuits, highlighting that Miles is set on continuing the family legacy as a farmer.

The Shepherdess revealed: "We are a very close-knit family, we are not like the Waltons, it is a different close-knit. A close-knit but spread over an area," reports Leeds Live.

"The farm gives us the best of both worlds, that safety net, and that there is always somebody there.

"Raven the oldest, she is at university, she is the brain box. Reuben, he likes machines, he likes engineering, he likes digging and he always has since he was a little kid. That has been his thing."

"And there are another seven of them; Miles has left school. He wants to be a farmer, and I don't know what the younger ones want to do, I just encourage them to do what makes them happy."

The mother of nine shared her excitement about the new acquisition, saying: "When Anty John's was put up for sale, it was a dream come true, really. It is a little farm cottage with a barn attached, just short of 40 acres."

Clive voiced his contentment: "It is nice to own a piece of this wonderful valley, and because there are so many of us, a house is certainly going to come in handy because who will live there? We haven't even thought about that; we have no idea, but somebody will."

Amanda rounded off by expressing her hope for the future: "Because, of course, with all these children, they all need a place they can call home."

Later on in the episode, Reuben admitted to the camera: "Other than Ravenseat, it is probably one of the only places I'd consider living happily."

Following the episode, fans flocked to social media to share their thoughts about Miles and the Owen children and how grown up they are now.

"My word, Miles has grown tall," one fan commented, while another added: "He has indeed."

A third went on: "Miles is becoming the double of Reuben," as someone else said: "Can't believe how grown up Miles is looking."

One penned: "Seeing how the children have grown was fabulous."
