Our Yorkshire Farm fans 'hardly recognise' Reuben Owen's younger brother Sid in new career move

Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm were taken aback by the noticeable change in Reuben Owen's younger brother Sidney, as seen in a recent Christmas special.

The standalone episode, dubbed Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales, brought together Reuben, his brothers Sidney and Miles, and his friend Tommy for a festive reunion.

In this holiday-themed episode, Reuben organised a celebratory gathering at their local haunt to thank friends and family for supporting his heavy plant machinery business. The episode also saw Reuben and Tommy travel to a Swedish mining town within the Arctic Circle for some year-end work.

However, viewers were particularly struck by Sidney's "grown up" appearance in the show.

Another fan shared similar sentiments: "I didn't recognise him, grown up now."

A third fan said, "Love young Sid, always ready to learn from his elders."

Another viewer predicted, "He will follow in his brother's footsteps," while another commented, " I loved the show; how tall has little Sid grown? I won't be able to call him little Sid soon."

More recently, Reuben and his younger siblings starred in a new series on All4 titled Our Farm Next Door: Amanda Clive and Kids. This series followed the Owen family as they took on the mammoth task of renovating the run-down farmhouse known as Anty John's.

During the show, family head Amanda Owen shared her aspirations for the renovation project and her desire to see some of her offspring move from the historic Ravenseat Farm to breathe new life into the revamped dwelling in the future.

Her son Reuben also seemed keen to strike out on his own, stating: "Other than Ravenseat, it is probably one of the only places I'd consider living happily."

Viewers were disheartened as the series concluded, but the Owens are set to grace their screens with fresh episodes in the New Year.
