Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen breaks down as she bids farewell after heartbreaking loss at Ravenseat
Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen fought back tears as she bid farewell to Little Joe, one of the family's cherished Shetland ponies. In the repeat episode, which initially aired in 2021, Amanda gathered her kids in the stable and said, her voice trembling: "So what do you think, Nancy?"
Nancy responded: "He was quite good," prompting Amanda to sob: "He was good, wasn't he?" As Nancy pointed to another horse, she inquired: "He loved everything that we did for him, is that horse going to die?"
Amanda clarified: "No, Tony is just young."
Nancy then asked: "What happened? Did he get old to die?" Amanda explained: "He did, he didn't suffer, he just dropped. He just had a heart attack."

Nancy reassured her mum that she took good care of the horse, adding: "He has been fed really good and he's grown a lot and he's really cosy."
Amanda comforted her children, saying: "I don't think there could be a better looked-after pony," reports Yorkshire Live.
The family then gathered around Little Joe to bid their final goodbyes. Amanda turned the camera towards her face, admitting: "We're going to miss him."
Since Our Yorkshire Farm concluded, most of the Owen children have avoided the spotlight, except Reuben, who launched his own Channel 5 series.
However, the Owen family will soon reunite for a new show.
The programme's synopsis reveals: "After buying a run-down property nearby, for their family's future, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive, and Kids will follow their journey to breathe life back into the home.
"In addition to Amanda and Clive's nine children, local tradespeople will be enlisted to revamp the farmhouse, locally known as Anty John's.
"However, the project won't be easy as they'll have to contend with the changing seasons and elements while restoring a listed property in a remote location."
Expressing her excitement about her TV return,, Amanda said: "It is fantastic More4 has given us the opportunity to showcase what we do best, working as a team and battling the elements whilst trying to reinstate the farm next door to its former glory.
"This new project has been a huge undertaking for the whole family and one we are excited to be able to share with the viewers at home."
Our Yorkshire Farm is available to watch on My5.
