Ahead of the series premiere on More4 on Monday (October 14), Amanda appeared on Lorraine to discuss the project and her relationship with her ex-husband, sharing that their latest collaboration was akin to past times.
“It does seem the same as ever it was,” explained Amanda (via OK! Magazine). “The work never stops. There's so much that needs doing every single day that we work together as a team and realistically that's an incredibly good lesson for the children.
“It's about pushing forward, compromise, making our unique situation work. Well, I say work – work to the degree that things in our life tend to work. In other words, chaos,” she continued, before speaking about the project as a whole.

“We have a vision and the vision is to have a working farm that we can call our own and a place for the children. I mean I don't know where they are going to go. We have nine of them but only one of them has left home, but it seems like they gravitate back.
“I feel like when you've been brought up here [their family farm] it's kind of in you, it gives you life lessons and it gives you a real grounding sense of purpose and you will take that with you everywhere in life.”
