Our Yorkshire Farm's Clive Owen makes difficult family decision as he admits 'It's time'
In a heartwarming segment of Our Farm Next Door, Clive Owen confessed to viewers about the transition happening on his farm, remarking, "I am getting old" emphasising the significance of handing over responsibilities to his children.
"We are cutting grass today. Now is our time, but the weather has been very unsettled," he divulged, alluding to seizing the opportunity despite unpredictable weather conditions saying, "It is saying we might have three fine days, so we are having a go."
During the episode, viewers watched as Miles, one of Clive's sons, took on grass cutting for the "first time."
Clive described the process as "It is quite complicated, especially on these awkward fields," while warmly recounting the shift in roles: "It is something I have always done, and it's lovely that I am not doing it. So, I am just telling him off and he is fed up of me already," chuckling at the father-son dynamic.
The programme captured an instructive moment with Clive cautioning Miles, stating, "Turn across, just be careful here. Down, down, watch what you're doing," reports Leeds Live.

Clive later reflected on his children taking more responsibility by saying: "They're grown-up these lads, and it's good for them to take over these jobs. Miles is a young man now so, the mowing is for him."
Towards the end of his reflection, caught on camera, Clive shared his contemplation on his own journey and the future, saying, "The kids grow up and become men. I am getting older, and I am not as strong as I used to be so yeah, it is good that these young guys take over."
Finalising his sentiments, he added a thought about legacy and moving forward: "It's time to pass on the baton and let them do more and more and that is how it is. I am here to watch over them and annoy them, and we will get there in the end."
Amanda Owen also took to X to confirm the end of the series, and while fans were gutted, it was soon announced that the Owens would be back for another instalment in the New Year.
She wrote ahead of the episode: "It's been a manic Monday so this is a late reminder that at 9pm you need to tune in to More4 for the last episode of Our Farm Next Door.
"If you miss it or forget then you can do the catch up thingy on All4."
"Really gutted as was enjoying watching this," one fan replied.
Another echoed: "Ah so sad it has finished, it relaxes me so much just watching the programme."
