Yorkshire school bus carrying 40 kids smashed up after crash with tractor
A school bus travelling in Yorkshire has been seriously damage in a crash with a tractor.
According to the BBC, the double-decker bus was travelling from the Hornsea School and Language College when the crash took place on the A1035 in Seaton. Around 40 children were said to be aboard the bus at the time of the crash.
Two teens - a 15 year old boy and 15 year old girl - were rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Another 29 school children received treatment for minor injuries.

The tractor was pulling a tanker at the time, with the bus crashing into the back of the tanker. This caused serious damage to the bus, which could be seen on the road with the front half of the bus smashed up. Part of the frame was also damage on the front left side of the bus.

The BBC reports Humberside Police told them nobody is believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. The emergency services were on the scene and the road was closed temporarily. In addition, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were in attendance, but nobody was airlifted to hospital.
A Humberside Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a double decker school bus and a tractor on the A1035, Leas Lane near to Seaton at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, January 22).
"Emergency services attended, and a 15-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy have been taken to hospital to receive medical treatment to serious injuries. Twenty-nine passengers between the ages of 11- and 16 years-old suffered minor injuries.
"Road closures were put in place at the scene to allow emergency services to work safely, the road has since been reopened. Investigations are ongoing, and officers are carrying out a number of lines of enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision."
