One visitor said there was even a pie made for dogs. Elise W said: "I visited the Piebald Inn for dinner after a lovely few days in Filey. I’d seen good reviews on TikTok and other sites so made a booking. With a dog friendly area it was ideal for me, my dad, my daughter and our two pooches. The place is cosy, inviting and warm. The staff were all lovely and really helpful too. Pies were awesome and the choice fantastic.
"This is definitely somewhere I would want to come back to. What I really enjoyed was not just my meal, but my time here too. There was a pie for the dogs as well which is such a lovely touch. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future."

Sam H said: "Lovely people and atmosphere, attentive, helpful and very nice food. Waited about 20 mins for our order to arrive, piping hot and very tasty. Very spoilt for choice with 52 varieties of pie including vegetarian options. Home cooked chips were great. The portions are huge but you do have the option of a take home doggy bag. They have pies for dogs to eat too!"

We had some difficulty booking but eventually got sorted .There is a huge list of Pies and as they are ordered the numbers available are reduced on a blackboard, unfortunately they had forgotten that my husband had requested a steak and kidney pie and there were none left when we arrived. The pies were very big lots of customers taking doggie bags home. We were glad of the walk back to our B&B to work off some of the meal."
