The Yorkshire Vet stars Mr and Mrs Green, two of the country’s oldest farmers, but does the couple have any children?

The heartwarming Channel 5 series continues this evening, Tuesday, November 26, with Julian Norton travelling to the Scottish Highlands where he first began his veterinary career in Thurso.

Back in Thirsk, 72-year-old Jean Green, a fan-favourite alongside her 95-year-old other half Steve, is concerned about one of her cats as they’re passing blood and is in need of some assistance.

And with the pair back on screen, it’s no wonder fans are curious to know all there is about the couple’s life away from the show.

Jean and Steve Green met more than 40 years ago after he had hired her brother to work on his farm.

Despite the 23-year age gap, they decided to get married just three months after their first encounter.

And it wasn’t too long before they welcomed their one and only child into the world, Sarah, who has preferred to keep a much quieter public profile in comparison to her parents.

She has occasionally popped up on her famous parents’ spin-off show At Home With The Greens but doesn’t make a habit of appearing on television.

Little is known about her but on Sarah’s Facebook profile, she describes herself as an “ambidextrous happy go lucky whippet mum”. She also insists that she is a “proud farmers’ daughter”, as well as a “broken back survivor”.

Sarah tends not to share pictures of herself but has posted about her mum and dad on X, formerly Twitter, including pictures of them with vet Peter Wright.

Another back in 2016 was of her mum Jean with a cat cuddling up underneath one of her baggy shirts.

Sarah’s profile picture is also of her mum with a cow on the farm, alongside the caption in a previous post: “My wonderful mum and fuzzy friend”.

As of yet, it isn’t clear if Sarah will return to her parents’ spin-off show or any indication if At Home With The Greens is even to make a comeback.
