Alison Hammond raised eyebrows during the You Bet! reboot premiere on Saturday, 7 December after sharing her job history as a machine operator.

Ahead of contestant Will Power's stunt, which comprised of pulling a prolonged wheelie whilst driving a JCB digger, the celebrity panelist regaled presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern, and fellow celebrity panelists Rob Beckett, Harry Redknapp and Rosie Ramsey with the time she transported sex toys through a warehouse with a forklift.

This was prior to her career-making stay in the Big Brother house 22 years ago.

Hammond, who co-presents The Great British Bake Off with Noel Fielding, told Mulhern: "I've got a little bit of experience with heavy machinery, I'll be honest with you," before turning to the driver seeking the show's £10,000 prize.

"I've got a lot in common with you Will, because I worked in this warehouse and I used to drive around in this forklift truck, I'm not even joking. I'm not gonna tell you what I was picking up but basically..." she continued; Celebs Go Dating narrator Beckett interrupting her.

He asked if what Hammond forklifted was of an illegal nature.

"No it's not! It's things that ladies use," replied the TV star, insinuating sex toys.

"What! And you need a forklift for it?!" yelled Beckett, much to the amusement of the whole studio.

Later on, cactus collectors Martin and Trixie bet the panel that they could identify different cacti by their official Latin names with just their tongues, blindfolded.

"It's tall, the spines are flat against the body of the plant," commented Martin at one point, before correctly naming Lobivia winteriana, Tephrocactus articulatus, Mammillaria elongata, and Copiapoa streptocaulon as the four species selected by Beckett.

Now that's a skill.

You Bet! airs Saturdays on ITV1.
