A 12-year-old Philadelphia Eagles fan was brought to tears after one of his idols gifted him with a pair of his gloves on August 5.
Xavier Dyer Jr, himself an aspiring football player, met Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor at the team’s open training camp at Lincoln Financial Field.
Footage tweeted by Dyer’s father, Xavier Sr, shows the emotional reaction the thoughtful gift provoked.
According to the tweet, Agholor also took a photo with Dyer and signed an autograph.
The Philadelphia Eagles shared the video to their own Twitter account, writing, “Come for practice, stay for the memories.”
Dyer’s good luck continued, too, as the Eagles gave him four tickets and four sideline passes for this week’s preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, CBS Philly said. Credit: Xavier Dyer Sr via Storyful
