RNLI lifeboat volunteers rescued a young girl whose inflatable dingy had blown out to sea off the coast of Rhyl, Wales, on May 31.
This footage shows RNLI volunteers speeding towards the girl, who is in considerable distress. The volunteers lift the girl and her inflatable into their inshore lifeboat, speeding her back towards her parents on the beach.
“The child’s family had kept a safety line to the shore, but it became detached from the shore and the dinghy drifted out,” the RNLI said in a statement. Credit: Rhyl RNLI via Storyful
