Your View: Did you expect more from PM in his message on candles?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appealed to citizens to light candles at 9 pm on April 5 for 9 minutes for the nation to show its ‘strength of unity’ in our fight against coronavirus.

He also reiterated the need to maintain social distancing and urged citizens to remain indoors while kighting candles or using their flashlights.

During his 20-minute video, PM Modi lauded the people for their cooperation in the 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19. He hinted that while the lockdown will be lifted on April 14, there will be some be restrictions.
