'You're My Best Friend Forever': Little Boy Cries When Meeting Brother for First Time

A little boy who visited a hospital in Los Angeles to meet his brother for the first time couldn’t contain his emotion when he laid eyes on the baby, bursting into tears and saying “You’re my best friend forever!”

Hudson Bloom was born in February 2019, to the great delight of then six-year-old Sawyer, who was very excited to meet his brother, video that’s gone viral again recently shows.

The video, recorded by the boys’ aunt, Brianna Blum, shows Sawyer in a dinosaur hoodie running into the hospital room. “Mommy, where is Hudson?” the child can be heard saying, with his mother bringing him to the cradle.

The smiling boy can then be seen laying eyes on his brother, before squealing a loud “Hudson!” as Dad Jordan asks him what he thinks of the baby.

Blum told Storyful: "My sister-in-law’s mother and I picked up Sawyer from school and headed to the hospital to meet his new baby brother.

“Sawyer was six years old at the time and an only child until Hudson came along. No one was expecting his incredibly sweet and heart-melting reaction.”

Blum said that the whole family started sobbing after the little boy cried “you’re my best friend forever!”

The video, originally published by the boys’ mother on Instagram on February 13, 2019, went viral after Blum reposted it to TikTok earlier this month. Credit: Briana Blum via Storyful
