Since launching his series in 2020, Danny has tried everything from fish and chips to full English breakfasts, stacked burgers and sweet treats. This month, the YouTube star made the trip to Berry Street, in Liverpool, to try the renowned Botan Kebab.

Over the three decades it has been open, Botan Kebab has won and been nominated for countless awards, including the title of Best Takeaway outside of London. Danny also said the the takeaway was the most recommended kebab in Liverpool, so to see if it really is the best, he tucked into a four meat kebab with chips and a drink for £17.

Speaking to his fans on the episode, Danny said: "These types of kebabs, price wise, I'm not too worried, because I know those type of kebabs with the shish and donner and chicken, that's what we're going to be paying, standard price.

"When I've been down London, they've been a bit more expensive, like £20 , £25. So I'm happy with that. If it's as nice as what people are saying it is...this could be the one." Before Danny's meal had even been prepared he was already being stopped by fans who recognised him and wanted a selfie.

One fan confirmed that it is indeed the best kebab in Liverpool, while another star struck person said they watched him in South Korea. When his food arrived Danny said: "This guys is just one big meat fest, it's got a nice bit of charring on the donner meat which is quite nice, it fits in well with everything else that's come off the grill."

He added that there is quite a bit of a spice on the chicken and said: "look at that, it's cooked to perfection and really, really nice, full of flavour." In the end Danny confessed that it wasn't the best kebab he has ever had, but he awarded it a 7.5 out of 10.

Botan Kebab, which opened in 1989, is known for its unique chilli sauce that is made fresh from a family recipe. Previously speaking to the ECHO, the manager said they would "never buy anything straight from the supermarket."

They added: "We make our chilli sauce from fresh vegetables. Everything we cook is homemade and that’s what makes the difference."
