Zelensky Hugs BBC Ukraine Reporter During UK Press Conference

President Volodymyr Zelensky hugged a reporter from BBC Ukraine during a press conference with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at a military camp in Dorset, England, on February 8.

Footage released by Zelensky on Facebook shows the moment journalist Natalia Goncharova says she would like to hug Zelensky but was not allowed to. Zelensky then takes out his earpiece and steps down from the podium to hug her.

Zelensky arrived in the UK on Wednesday morning. In his first visit to the country since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Zelensky also met King Charles and addressed the British parliament at Westminster Hall. Credit: Volodymyr Zelensky via Storyful
