The Emmys last night were glamorous as usual, with stars taking to the red carpet in their finest outfits. For many however, the glitz didn't stop there as a few staged outfit changes to attend the busiest after parties of the night - the creme de la creme of which was HBO's major bash. With stars including Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie as well as Zendaya, Queer Eye's Tan France and Drake, the event was packed with A-listers.

The Game of Thrones cast, who won Outstanding Drama Series, were reunited yet again last night and were seen together throughout the night.

Emilia Clarke, who lost out on the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series but won Jennifer Lopez’s heart on the night, was seen sitting with her co-stars Iain Glen and close friend Nathalie Emmanuel with big smiles on their faces.

Sophie Turner also orchestrated a sneaky outfit change, swapping into white cocktail dress with a high collar. As with Clarke, she was also nominated for her role as Sansa Stark for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series but did not win. Earlier in the evening, the Louis Vuitton brand ambassador wore a pastel pink dress by the designer paired with a striking diamond necklace.

She was joined by another star to change outfits - RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Nina West, who made history as the first drag queen to walk the red carpet in full drag according to Cosmopolitan. West and Turner were seen giggling with one another as they chatted.

Gwendoline Christie, who stole the red carpet in a Gucci gown many saw as godlike on social media, changed out of her robes for a striking pink and silver power suit and trainers.

Maisie Williams opted against an outfit change and stuck to her stunning JW Anderson dress, which featured an asymmetrical hem. She revealed earlier that the dress had been custom-made for her by the brand, in collaboration with her designer boyfriend Reuben Selby.

Although some on Twitter were furious that Isaac Hempstead Wright didn’t get a chance to join his co-stars onstage at the Emmys, he looked like he’d won the whole night as he posed with a guest.

He and many of GoT’s male cast members also posed for a squad photo, which included Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Alfie Allen, John Bradley and Liam Cunningham. Kit Harington was also seen later on in the evening with Iain Glen, while Peter Dinklage (who was the only Game of Thrones actor to win an Emmy) was pictured with David Benioff.

Euphoria’s Zendaya also changed out of her Poison Ivy-inspired green gown for a sweet floral dress, which was about as far from her Emmys dress as you could possibly get. She was photographed with her co-stars Alexa Demie and Sydney Sweeney, creator Sam Levinson and musician Labrinth.

Newlyweds Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz also made an appearance, with the supermodel wearing an embellished black and silver gown and dangling earrings.

It isn’t unusual for stars to party hop throughout the night and Tan France, who was also seen at the Netflix after party, made an appearance at the HBO party. He also changed outfits, swapping out of his Tarun Tahiliani look for a more laidback open jacket. He shared a cheeky Instagram story of the look, which also featured his dapper husband Rob France.

Although it may come as a surprise to some that musician Drake was in attendance at the party, the rapper is actually a producer for Zendaya’s show Euphoria which airs on the network. Pictured chatting to another guest at the event, he dressed down for the occasion in an all black look. He posed with Labrinth for a quick photo.

John Oliver, whose HBO show Last Week Tonight won big at the Emmys, also chose a monochrome look for the event - only he chose a more stepped up suit.

Other stars to attend the event included Reggie Watts, Naomi Watts, SNL cast member Vanessa Bayer and Beck Benett, Sarah Silverman, The Good Place’s Manny Jacinto and more. The event saw Questlove take over the decks and stars glide through a room dominated by a gigantic head sculpture.
