Zoe Ball issues BBC Radio 2 update after being absent for weeks
Zoe Ball is set to return to her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show at 6:30 am on Monday, as she expressed on the social media platform X, which has now replaced Twitter.
In a statement shared there, she mentioned, "Back on breakfast @bbcradio2 tomorrow morning at 6:30." The star radio personality also extended her gratitude to Scott Mills for covering her slot. Zoe Ball had last been on air for The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on August 8 after taking a short break during the summer.
Scott Mills along with Gaby Roslin have been stepping in for her in her absence. A BBC Radio 2 spokesperson depicted enthusiasm in their comment, saying, "We are looking forward to welcoming Zoe back to the Radio 2 Breakfast Show tomorrow morning."

Ball, who has had a prolific broadcasting career, took over the reins of the morning programme back in 2019 succeeding Chris Evans. Marking a milestone in her early career, she was the pioneer female presenter for the Radio 1 Breakfast Show from 1998 until 2000.
Her rich career includes co-presenting with Jamie Theakston on the popular Saturday morning children's show Live and Kicking for three years starting in 1996. She has also been the face of Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on the BBC, and fronted ITV's reality contest Mamma Mia!I Have A Dream, reports Lancs Live.
