In perhaps the most heartwarming moment of an incredibly emotional night, Zoe Ball was moved to tears after learning how much she had personally raised for Sport Relief.

The BBC Radio 2 and Strictly: It Takes Two host took on the Hardest Road Home challenge, a 350-mile cycle, in memory of her boyfriend Billy Yates, who sadly died by suicide last year.

Former cricket star Freddie Flintoff was on stage to reveal live just how much money the host had raised, and when he revealed the final total of £1,198,012, Zoe couldn't help but burst into tears.

The star has documented her five-day challenge, that took her from Blackpool to Brighton, on a series of videos on official Sport Relief YouTube channel. Here she is finishing her trip in Brighton:

Zoe wrote on Instagram afterwards, saying: "THANK YOU THANK YOU this amount is astounding.

"Sending huge love & grateful thanks to everyone who kindly donated & supported #hardestroadhome@sportrelief your generosity is everything & will make such a difference & help so many vulnerable people. You are all super humans 🙏❤️ #mentalhealth #gratitude#love."

She also tweeted: "Heartfelt thanks & big love to every person who donated & supported us on #hardestroadhome you will make such a difference to so many peoples lives. Gobsmacked at your generosity THANK YOU."

Overall, this year's Sport Relief has raised a staggering £38 million, and you can continue to donate at sportrelief.com.
