Zombie maze and haunted house coming to Cornwall for Halloween

A zombie maze and a haunted house are coming to FrightFest 2024 Cornwall. Hosted at the Cornwall Riding Centre behind Mitchell and Webber in Scorrier, this spine-chilling event promises unforgettable scares.

Running from October 26 to November 3, FrightFest invites brave souls to face two of its most thrilling attractions, Escape the Haunted House and Escape the Zombies Maze. The Haunted House is a labyrinth of haunted chambers where you’ll encounter spine-chilling jump scares, mind-bending puzzles, and live actors who are as eager to terrify you as the restless spirits that haunt this cursed house.

Participants must solve the riddles, crack the clues, and escape before the malevolent forces close in. The clock is ticking, the atmosphere is terrifying, and every shadow could hold the key to freedom—or your doom.

In Escape the Zombies, teams are thrust into a twisting maze, pursued by relentless, brain-hungry zombies. Players must survive an hour of hair-raising tension as they navigate a post-apocalyptic nightmare, solving puzzles and dodging the grasping hands of the undead.

The tension mounts as you struggle to escape before the zombies overrun your position. With each puzzle solved, you move one step closer to freedom—but watch out.

FrightFest offers something for everyone, from family-friendly thrills during daylight hours to truly terrifying encounters after dark. Family Hours, from 2pm - 6pm, are perfect for families with brave youngsters, though still guaranteed to provide spine-tingling excitement.

Family Day is on Tuesday, October 29, with no alcohol on sale for the entire day and families age 14+ welcome all day and evening. The 18+ Nighttime Horrors event runs from 6pm - 10pm.

As the night falls, the intensity ramps up. Only the most fearless should dare to enter the Haunted House or the Zombies Maze after dark.

Each activity lasts approximately 60 minutes, with teams of four to six players starting every 20 minutes. With minimal waiting times, you’ll be quickly immersed in the action. Book your spot for either experience, or go all-in with a bundle ticket that lets you conquer both the Haunted House and the Zombies Maze.

Between scares, grab food and drinks to calm your nerves. Plus, with ample free parking on site, your visit to FrightFest is convenient.
