Zooey Deschanel Shares Adorable Photo While Voting Early With Jonathan Scott

Time is swiftly ticking until Election Day (November 3) for the United States' 2020 elections, and across the country people have taken part in early voting. Among the historic mass of early voters is actress Zooey Deschanel and beau Jonathan Scott.

On October 29, Deschanel posted a photo on social media of herself cozied up to Scott and added the caption: "We voted!" The Property Brothers co-host shared the same photo on Instagram and included a much lengthier caption.

In his caption, Scott revealed that this election serves as his first time voting in the United States, and also doted on the "privilege" of being able to vote. The 42-year-old and his twin brother, Drew Scott, were born in Vancouver, Canada.

"This is a big moment for me," Jonathan Scott wrote. "This was my first time voting in the US...and it really is a privilege that not everyone in the world has the ability to exercise. I am humbled and proud to be surrounded by a partner and loved ones who also cherish the importance of having your voice heard. I hope nobody takes this for granted."

It has been well over a year since Deschanel and Scott met while filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke, and the sparks have flown ever since.

Fans of the couple were recently met with exciting news when it was revealed that Deschanel will appear on the premiere episode of season two of HGTV's Celebrity IOU. Other celebs slated to appear on the show include Justin Hartley, Allison Janney and Rainn Wilson.

Celebrity IOU will premiere on December 14 at 9 p.m. on HGTV.
