ZTE Grand S gets further spec leak

ZTE Grand S gets further spec leak. Phones, Mobile phones, ZTE, ZTE Grand S 0

It isn't often that we get massively excited over ZTE handsets, but the Grand S appears to be the exception to the rule. ZTE itself is so keen to show it off, it keeps leaking details of the phone before its CES reveal.

For those not in the know, the Grand S sports a Full HD 5-inch display, like a lot of the phones we are starting to see and hear about in the tun-up to CES. On top of that, the handset is just 6.9 mm thin, with a 13-megapixel camera on the back.

In addition, you get class-leading internals such as a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, 2GB of RAM and, of course, Jelly Bean.

At the moment the phone is being priced at around $449/£280 in China, unlocked. There are no details as to where, when or if ever it will turn up in Europe, but given ZTE's plans for world smartphone domination, it is highly possible.

This could be a real jewel in the crown for a mobile phone manufacturer that has only just started to get interesting. In the meantime, why not drool over the 1080p screen on the HTC Butterfly?
