Panola College announces three finalists for school president

CARTHAGE, Texas (KETK) – The Panola College Board of Trustees announced the three finalists for the position of president on Friday.

Panola College said that the three finalists are Dr. Billy Adams, Dr. Jessica Pace and Dr. Kevin Rose.

The college said that Adams is the current Vice President of Instruction at Panola College as well as an adjunct history instructor at Central Texas College. Adams reportedly served as the Vice President of Instruction at Ranger College and the Pipelines Operations Specialist at TXU Pipeline, having a Doctor of Education in higher education leadership from Tarleton State.

Panola College said that Pace is currently the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and an adjunct faculty member at Panola College. Pace reportedly served as the manager of the college store at Panola College, the Tech Prep Coordinator at Panola College and the territory manager at Praxair, she earned a Doctor of Education in learning and organizational change from Baylor University.

UT Tyler president announces retirement effective in May

The college said that Rose is the current Senior Vice President for Student Success at Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant, and had previously served as Vice President of Instruction at Northeast Texas Community College and dean of business, technology and workforce education at Paris Junior College. Rose reportedly earned his Doctor of Education in higher education leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
