It has been confirmed that hugely successful TV drama, Doctor Foster, will return for a second series, with Suranne Jones set to reprise her popular role of Dr. Gemma Foster. In case you missed it, or didn’t notice when it heavily featured on Gogglebox, the first series of the BBC One show saw Gemma discover that her husband was having an affair, eventually coming to terms with his infidelity. Speaking about the second series, Suranne explained: “After discussions with Drama Republic and the wonderful [writer and creator] Mike Bartlett I am thrilled to announce we will all be reunited to tell Gemma’s next chapter, and I can’t wait for the audience who invested in these characters to find out what explosive twists and turns Mike has in store.
