Allan Donald 'looking at key Sri Lankan players' for Test series strategy

Cape Town, Dec 1(ANI): South African bowling coach Allan Donald has said that he has been studying video material of Sri Lankan players ahead of the upcoming Test series, which starts on December 15 in Centurion. "I'm currently busy with my own planning. I'm looking at their key players - the core of their batting line-up, but there some players here and there whom I'm not very familiar with," Donald told the Volksblad newspaper. Donald singled out all-rounder Angelo Mathews as the danger man for his team's bowlers. "Mathews can take a game out of your reach. He is one of the batsmen against whom we'll have to bowl aggressively. We can't afford any loose deliveries against him as he is someone that can get the scoreboard rolling quickly," said Donald. The Centurion Test will be followed by matches at Durban (December 26-30) and Cape Town (January 3-7). The two teams will also play a five-match ODI series. (ANI)
