Arsenal Held By Dortmund

A late equaliser denied Arsenal victory against Borussia Dortmund in their first Champions League match in Group F.

The Gunners led at half time to the German champions thanks to a goal from Robin Van Persie.

Dortmund grabbed a share of the points after a great strike from Ivan Perisic with two minutes to go.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger watched from the stands as he served the first of a two match touchline ban.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny said afterwards: "We were under a lot of pressure in the second half. We showed on Saturday against Swansea that we know how to play football, we know how to win games.

"Today was a very tough fixture but I think we can be happy."
