Daddy's Girl: First Pics Of Beckhams' Baby

New mum Victoria Beckham has used her Twitter page to release the first pictures of "daddy's little girl" - Harper Seven.

Husband David is pictured tenderly cradling his first daughter - a sister for the couple's three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

The football star was quoted as saying he is learning to be more "delicate" with his new daughter after having three sons.

The pictures clearly show he is learning fast as he cuddles the week-old girl wrapped snugly in a blanket and wearing a hat.

Beckham also put a picture of Victoria and Harper on his facebook page.

The former England captain celebrated Harper's arrival when he took to the football pitch on Saturday with her name stitched on his football boots alongside those of the rest of the family.

He went for the colour pink to highlight adding a little girl to his brood.

Accompanying a picture of the boots on his Facebook site, Beckham wrote: "Check out my boots for the Real Madrid match. A little extra stitching needed from now on..."

His team LA Galaxy lost to Real Madrid 4-1 but that was unlikely to dampen his fatherly delight.

Beckham earlier said he and Victoria had named the new arrival after the former Spice Girl's favourite author Harper Lee who wrote To Kill A Mockingbird.
